This is caused when you don't have enough progesterone to balance the effects of estrogen. Thus, you can have low estrogen or symptoms of estrogen deficiency, but if you have even lower progesterone, you can have symptoms of estrogen dominance. Many women between the ages of 40 and 50 suffer from estrogen dominance. You may want to try using some natural progesterone cream. In saliva hormone testing, when your estrogen is at its optimal level, your progesterone should be about 200 times higher. In other words, the ratio of progesterone to estrogen for hormone balance would be about 200:1 Symptom Group 5: Excess Androgens

I had the biggest health scare of my life. I certainly feel it is a story I want to share with women all over the world. It is a story that could be life saving. I was 53 and NEVER had a mammogram. In November of 2006 I had my first mammogram. I left the office happy and care free totally expecting to receive a letter from the doctor's office in a few days saying the test was normal and to be retested in 2007.Then later in that same day after I had the mammogram my phone ring and it was the doctor's office asking if I could be in their office @ 8:30 AM the next morning for a diagnostic mammogram and an ultra sound. They had found THREE tumors in my breast. I was SHOCKED and VERY AFRAID. The rest of the day was filled with lots of praying and wondering what IF.
